KISS – Keep it simple silly – Become a master prospector and just talk to more people with purpose and urgency!
You don’t need all these fancy online gadgets and systems. You don’t need fancy and expensive advertising.
Simply reach out your hand and say…Hello!
People are hungry for simple answers. People want to make more money but…they don’t want to be over whelmed or involved in something far-fetched.
Sell a simple product. Have simple conversations! Ya, OK… if you have some advertising working for you through online marketing so be it…but you don’t have too!
Look: I work in direct sales for a full time career. 80% of my appointments with new prospects are set up over the phone by offering a simple but valuable premium with no obligation. We set 10-12 appointments per week on average per sales rep. We close 40%-50% of those appointments with an average sales of $2,000.00…With an average commission of 14% that = $240 per sale.
IS THAT WHAT OUR LOOKING FOR OUT OF YOUR BUSINESS?
Then quit looking for the magic beans that will grow your business and start learning how to prospect effectively.
URGENCY – Quit selling the business or product at the first contact (Or over the phone) and just set the darn appointment! Get them to that conference call or meeting!
PURPOSE – Set a reasonable, obtainable and track-able goal. Know how many hours it takes to set X amount of appointments. Notice I didn’t say a thing about money…Yet!
Once you learn to prospect effectively, set appointments effectively and present effectively…the money will follow.
